We took our 3 year old (C4Gp 1.6HDi EGS) Motability car in and collected our new C4 Grand Picasso in Silver (1.6HDi (8 Valve) with a Manual Gearbox)

It now comes with DRL's Gear change efficiency indicator, USB/iPOD & MP3 connectivity, Bluetooth, Reverse parking sensors, Dipping reversing mirrors.

After driving a EGS box for 3 years, it didn't take to long to get used to the gearstick and clutch again!!!!!

It looks a bigger car somehow, but it isn't(optical illusion)

Didn't like the plain door pillars, so I bought these off e-bay -

So fitted some of my own things to personalize it, such as - 16GB micro sd stick for audio, F+R wind deflectors, New set of mats, A chrome stubby aerial, Improved headlamp bulbs, LED brake light bulbs, Reverse audio warning bulbs.

Not forgetting the all important -

Took it out for a little run on Sunday night and it seems to have a lot more mid range pull than the old car(although I haven't tried full throttle as yet!!)
It seems to get to 70 MPH a lot easier than the old car.

Nearly 140 miles all local and averaging about 41 mpg so far(not bad at all!)

Going to South Wales with 5 people in and a roof box on top, so will let you know the numbers when I return.

Looks like the spec is being rationalised right across the range.

Personally I find the gear change indicator a real pain, but the USB/iPod link is good.

To be honest, it's a gimmick! i'm too busy looking at the road than watching the dashboard popping up numbers!!

Found some tidy little Citroen door guards on wee-bay!!(must remember to post a photo!! )

Bye the way, thanks for the comment as well!!.

Can you not turn off the GSI?

Cant be worse than the Astra Eco What Ever I had at work that if you didn't change after it advised you within a set time, a continual beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep sounded until you did.

Handy considering it wasnt "intelligent" enough to know that you were holding a gear for the up and coming steep hill. :/

It's not a menu option for the driver, but maybe the latest version of Lexia could remove it or change the threshold at which it kicks in.

At least it doesn't make horrible noises.

As for the bi-zenon's No

Well I have only got this car for 2 years, so imagine the extra's on it then!!LOL

I will do a proper review when I return home.

Hi, when I ordered it, I had only been given 2 years by the DLA.

Nice new car, in a great colour.
I stand corrected, but aren't the Reverse Warning Bulbs only legal on HGV and large commercial vehicles?

When I re-applied for my DLA, the answer came back as 2 years.

I phoned them and asked them to read and re-assess the paperwork and information previously supplied.
Well in the process of waiting for a reply, I had to order my car, so I did.
However about several weeks after, Surprise sur bl00dy prise, I get a letter saying that to new information supplied via doctors and specialists, they decided to give it for life.
