Just realised, seeing a photo from another C4 coupe vtr, mine is missing the black box, in the bottom right corner, under the battery... what is that?

it holds the air filter and quietens the passage of air

as far as i'm aware, the air filter is that long box on the left hand side of the battery?

Yeah I've got that on mine, it's just a simple duct, no filters or anything.

I hope this isn't a members car as it looks asthough it is leaking break fluid onto the air box. Seals are common to go on the cap.

Or someone changed the pads and didn't remove the cap before pushing the pistons back.
