Ok after many problem on the 2.0 C4 VTS the garage have now said it needs a new turbo as its picking up the fault P2562 and everything else that may cause the problem has either been checked or replaced.

Apparently the sensor causing the problem is built into the turbo and cannot be replaced and was wondering if this is correct? or can the turbo be removed and the sensors replaced?

Go here and search on P2562 for the technical Doc: - Click Here -

Turbos can be stripped and re-built, but a dealer will only swap one out complete because of warranty limitations. Go see a turbo specialist.

Don't know if this helps or not:
P2562 Turbocharger position copy signal : Positive loop gap

Check for turbo control vacuum supply, possibly too weak. Look at other solenoid valves for vacuum leakage. (Stable 750mb vacuum with engine running)

Well I have a warranty with warranty direct but have another 30 days before I can make a claim due to the wear and tear clause.

Think I'll be better to wait and get a new turbo fitted.

Well new turbo getting fitted today lets hope its solves the power loss problem as everything else has either been replaced or checked and garage has said it is now the only thing it can be.

Fingers crossed will let you know.

Took the garage a bit longer than expected but will be ready tomorrow about midday, looks like the wastegate actuator fitted to the turbo is causing the problem.

Well new turbo fitted and still has the same problem. Citroen says it may require an Auto Adaptive Update and are going to do this on Monday.

Anybody got any clues what an Auto Adaptive Update is?
