Hi all,
Been doing some cleaning up under the bonnet today, and have for a while wondered why my car doesn't have an air doseur assembly.

Am I looking in the wrong place? I think it should be to the left of the engine / turbo?

Couple of pics showing my engine. Car is an 05 plate 1.6HDi 110 non FAP.

Early engines didn't have the ' Air Doseur' referred to in some threads.

That came with the addition of fAP and increasing the engine from euro 3 to 4 (or was it 2 - 3 can't remember)

If you look at image 1, to the left of the oil filler, that does a similar function

Be grateful, you have a reliable engine with far less to go wrong

Excellent, thanks for that Dave.

I had a little oil leak from the orange sleeve in the right of the turbo, so thats what got me thinking

. All sorted now tho - things werent quite as tight as I like them on the jubilee clips. The sleeve itself was intact so happy bunny all round.

As for the car, nearly 4 months I've had her, and i'm very happy.
