Hi

I have my new WRC spoiler on its way to fit onto my Citroen C4 Loeb. I haven't actually looked as yet but does anyone know how the original spoiler comes off the car to fit the new one?

Cheers

Remove plastic trim in boot. Will need a Torx20 driver. Then you will find the bolts for the spoiler. It is also attached with sticky pads. But 5 bolts are what mainly holds it on.

Patience and warm plastic trim!

In a nutshell,
Open the boot, remove the two torx screws from the underneath handles, then yank all that trim away.
Remove the two trim arms along each side of the boot (these tabs may break, so the warmer the better - less brittle)
Remove the trim along the joint of the two glass pieces.
Remove the 5 nuts (or 3 in some cases).
Use some fishing wire on the outside of the boot to cut through the sticky pads at either end, then pull the spoiler up and away.

Refitting is the reverse of removal

Thanks very much for your help....Just one more thing, can the little spoiler part go back on where the two glass windows join, after taking it off to get the original spoiler off? (Obviously depending on the new spoiler)

the spoiler is one piece, it looks like 2 its actually not. If you are thinking of the little unpainted one that the coupe should come with, where it was will be covered by every spoiler I have seen

This is the spoiler I am getting but it doesnt have the small spoiler section between the two glass parts, so will I have to buy it seperately?

That looks like it is just the standard spoiler at the bottom.

And as you have a Loeb you won't have that bit at all. And I can't see anywhere that your new spoiler can bolt to - it doesn't just stick on does it?

I'm a bit confused now as I am getting different responses- One saying it is an all in one piece and comes off together and then some one else saying it is a two piece?????

So, looking at the picture below; I want to change the original spoiler (A) to the new spoiler but people are telling me that the small part between the glass also comes off. What I want to know is, If that piece (B) does come off, will/can it go back on after fitting the new spoiler? As I dont want all those holes and I dont really want to have to buy another one if it is an all in one??

Thanks

The original spoiler like yours is an all in one piece. They probably are separable, but it would involve an oven as there is a lot of glue holding as well as screws.

C4's without a spoiler come with a lip across the rear, which is what may be the confusing bit:

You can get it apart without an oven. It's screwed together I just used a heatgun and scooped the glue out. Came apart easily enough.
