Does anyone know for definate how long this edition is lasting for?

I'm looking to order before Xmas, and it looks tempting.

Thanks

Eddie

Not sure this really answers your question, but I ordered a new car on Sunday, dealer said there was 22 petrol and 2 diesel models in stock in the Uk. I've got one of the petrol models! due in the dealer tomorrow.

I understand from Citroen that 1000 Special edition Loeb C4's have been manufactured.Of that 1000, 400 are for sale in UK and have been on sale since approx January 2007. Some are still available as I have just bought one in the West Riding of Yorkshire.According to Citroen 1000 C4 Loeb editions were manufactured. All seperateley numbered 1 to 1000.400 were imported to UK.The number on the car specifies what number your car is.Mine is 0408 out of 1000.So out of the 1000 not necessarily the first 400 were imported to the UK.

Dear Mr

Thank you for your e-mail dated 29 September 2007.

I have been informed by our Supply and Distribution Department, that 1000 Citroën C4 Loeb models were manufactured for the UK and European market, numbered 1-1000. These however, were not distributed in numerical order. The 400 C4 Loeb cars allocated to the UK can therefore, bear any number between 1 and 1000.

If we can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us on 0870 606 9099 or via e-mail e mail icon.

In closing, I would like to thank you for taking the time to contact us.

Yours sincerely

There are more than 400 LOEBS were pretty sure about that. Sure someone mentioned seeing one with a number above 400. I think there were going to be 400 but that changed.

I bet its "limited" unless it sells well (which it has) in which case the original release figure will (I would imagine) be dropped.

mines number 441 apparently all the original 400 were sold before they were made
i dont know how true that is its a good seller so i dont know when they will stop
but it isnt going to be such a ltd edition if they keep makin them

When I bought mine in late feb the dealer gave me a figure of 500 in UK and Eire.Mine is number 229.I was chatting to a salesman lately and he said that figure is now 1000.There are 5 red loebs within 5 miles of me,So for me I may aswell be driving a standard vtr+ because I don't fell like I'm driving a car thats supposed to have a limited run :@

I have to say I have yet to see a Red Loeb (or Black) on the road anywhere (and travel around the North of England a lot) except French Car Show Paul so they are pretty exclusive

Whilst Red is prodominantly more popular I've seen a Black one in Bristol. That said I've seen more C4 Loebs than I have C2 ones....

I've only seen one, a red one. It was being driven out of the Citroën dealers in Stockport.

Which reminds me that yesterday I saw a lovely dark bottle green 06 VTS coupé drive away from the Citroën dealer in Wallasey. A very nicely understated yet bold colour.
