I'd build one myself personally, but then again only as I enjoy that kind of thing.

I mean you can go with the small ITX build route, or thinking about it. I wonder how easily a Raspberry Pi could be setup. I think the hardest bit will be the screen personally.

Doing some googling this came up when I started thinking about Raspberry Pi builds. Seems they have monitors etc.

Thanks for the info mate but this is going to be way over my head. Maybe I'll just keep the satnav currently in car. Only really wanted to get sharper looking screen and speed camera alerts.
