Hi I used to have a 807 same as c8/ulysse people carrier B4 the grand picasso I have now. Many of the parts on the c4 seem to be gifted off the old 807.One of the problems I had on the old 807 was the rear windows opening on their own and the locking/imobilser playing up(long story short water getting into fusebox under bonnet).

I would leave car knowing it was locked and windows shut and come back later find rear windows fully or part open and car unlocked. But one of the features on the 807 was "airing" you could press and hold the unlock button on the fob and all windows would open fully to air the car in summer months. When the fuse box was replaced this feature was removed and in all later models.

I just wondered if this has been reintroduced to the c4 model you have and this may be a electrical gremlin in that system.(I only have lock and shut window on my fob control) Just a thought

if one of the doors was not closed proparly then the car will not lock and the window will not go up.

the occasion at the start of this thread has not happened again - I now always double lock the car and on this occasion the car was indeed shut, locked, with its windows all up when I left it - it just was not double locked - hopefully grmlin has now gone!
