Hi all, just fitted a strip of LEDs to under the dash on C4GP.

Where is the easiest or best way to wire them into my lights?
i.e. what I want is when I turn my lights on they come on. Any ideas most welcomed.
Many thanks
peter

Wattage is measured in watts, current is measured in amps.
Ordinary LEDs draw about 20mA, the superbright types 30mA upwards.
How many LEDs in the strip?

1.5A at 12V is nominally 20W, which seems a lot for an LED.

I'm also looking to do this, just got 4 LED strips and am looking to wire them underneath front footwells and underneath driver/passengers seats.

Anyone have a guide/how to?

Got a set of 4 strip blue led's from Maplins. As been on nights, the ignition is in shadow. So a strip around heater control drivers side and the other 3 strips under seats and glove box.The feed came from the main courtesy light bulb, just found the contacts either side of the bulb.Being thin wires pushed them into trim behind visor roll then down the door/windscreen pillar around trim and behind dash.Stuck the other on seat bar and wire down console and carpet trim to dash. They come on and go off with other interior lights and no errors. With all my interior lights led, it's bright and blue inside now but not too bright.
