Some people love them, others don't, but they look OK in that position

They look quite cool. Where did you get them and what are the dimensions? I was having a brainwave the other day of putting them in the gaps in the sport bumper that the VTR/VTR+ and above have, anyone think it'd be a good idea?

- Click Here - it is those ones^^^, from halfords. They were quite easy to fit, the wires already had ring terminals attached. I connected the positive straight to the battery. I earthed the negative to the chassis. There is also a third wire, which i scotch locked to positive wire of the passenger side sidelight. so that lights come on when the ignition is turned on, and then they dim when the sidelights are turned on. otherwise you would blind every driver at night. |

Seen a C4 on a Spanish Forum with something similar looks good |

How did you run the wires from the lights up to the battery? Did you have to remove the front bumper? A few photos showing that would be great please |

I fitted the same ones about 2 months ago, and they are good. Very noticeable in the daytime and subtle in the dark when the lights are on. Also very simple to fit. I didn't remove the bumper to feed the wires. I removed the nearside fog light surround and it was easy to feed the wires behind there to the battery. Needed a little piece of plastic removing in the 'grill' part of the bumoer so that the lights fitted completely recessed. A couple of extra pics. They don't photograph well in the daylight, as you can't really see the degree of illumination. Also at night in the photo they look very bright, but don't dazzle as they look in the photos. Hope that makes sense. 1st Picture - Lights off, so DRL's 2nd Picture - Lights on. so DRL's dimmed automatically 3rd Picture - Side lights 4th Picture - Front no lights |

They look great What do you mean by removed the fog light surround? Is that like the piece of plastic which has a break it it just before the bumper "bends" up over the number plate if you know what i mean? |

Yes, the fog light part is separate to the main grill, in picture 2 you can see the diagonal line just above the DLR which is where the 2 parts meet. Parts list is here: - Click Here - |

So it should just pop off? I'm hoping I don't break any of those annoying clips if I attempt this |

I'd thought of that, but they have to be a certain height off the floor and the gap your on about is just under that height. Can't remember the exact number, and can't lay my hands on the instructions that state the distance off the round. Clive |
