Looks like you have the 'upgraded' one then StevieB - the one the replace the one that snaps off with Why so many variations? Well the sumps hold different amounts of oil - the length need to vary and as you say the 'bend in the tube' to reach to the sump is a factor never mind that it has to be in an accessible location ![]() ![]() |

Count me out on that one then Dave...you already know who the winner is ![]() I've been thinking...just for the crack I might just wander up to the Citroen Parts desk and ask if he has a dipstick for a C4 and see what face he pulls as he's going through the parts bin of a hundred and one various dipsticks |

Hi, Guys! I'm just checking in from the public library in Stornoway. I did the 500+ miles here without problem, at the usual 54mpg, so there seems to be no worries on the dipstick score. It's amazing here on Lewis and Harris, with Atlantic weather blowing in, one minute soaking us with really fresh rain, the next lovely sunshine. I got my satnav just in time, and it seems OK once I've figured out its foibles. It was fun on the ferry from Uig to Tarbert. |

Done over a thousand miles now, and all is well. But I'll phone Caledonia when I get home next week. PS: Checking in from Dornie, a few miles east of the Kyle of Lochalsh. Off north tomorrow - Dureness - and hope to get to Cape Wrath. |
