Lock a C4 Grand Picasso leaving the tailgate open?
Q. Is it possible to lock all the doors but to have the tailgate open (for dogs to get air) also would I be able to have the alarm on (the perimetric part not the volumetric). Again for when dogs are inside the car.

Sometimes at the dog shows we have to keep the dogs in their crate (locked) and keep the tailgate open on the astra.

A. ****** WARNINGS ******

THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL CITROEN METHOD AND MAY BE FROWNED UPON BY INSURANCE COMPANIES.

FAILURE TO RELEASE THE CATCH BEFORE CLOSING THE WINDOW MAY CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE TO THE CATCH AND THE WINDOW.

Hold down the sensor button until the red led is on.

Open the boot window.

Use your key (or other suitable item) to move the catch until it clicks - it may take two or three movements.

Double lock the car with the remote.

End result, doors doubled-locked, alarm on (volumetric sensors disabled) and tailgate open for dogs.

PS Apologies for the size of the photos but you need to 'click' on them to be able to zoom in for more detail.

And yes, I do know my hand in one of the photos makes it look like a dodgy special effect from a Gerry Anderson series.
