What is an Intercooler? |
![]() |
Air Cooler. When the compressed air comes out of the turbo charger the air is very hot and rarified which tends to negate some of the benefits of the turbo. This air is put through an intercooler to cool it and make it more dense before being fed back into the engine. The intercooler is like a radiator with fins for air cooling of the turbo charged air that is running through the inside. |
