I was looking for a replacement vehicle for my ageing 406 HDi 110bhp estate –a car which had served me well, but with 150+ miles on the clock, and a main dealer unable to cure faults with it cutting out, the time had come to move on. I provide my own vehicle for work use, and this changed my requirements somewhat. [read more]

Citroen C4 Grand Picasso Exclusive 1.6 HDi EGS - how is it doing?
Having taken delivery early June, I thought it was time to start a long term report. The vehicle is a Wicked Red Grand Picasso, with the new style Managua standard alloys. I have had the car for 3 days now and it is one good buy. I am parked next to a bright red new Astra 3 door hatch which I always thought was a real looker...Not any more! The boot and rear seats are fine. The coupe shape doesn't take away space although head room could be an issue [read more]

After selling the Mazda3 1.6 tiptronic two years ago because of the temporary money shortage before marriage, I bought fresh new Corsa 1.2 twinport. Two things was in my mind, it's easy and cheap car to run and buy. But I've seen that it wasn't. It was petrol hungry as any 1.6 petrol and servicing was very high, comfort and [read more]

My car is a 35,000 miler with full leather, panoramic sunroof, front and rear reverse sensors, Sat Nav and phone. It has every option fitted to it except the lane departure system. It also has FSH I paid (No word of a lie) £7,000 for it. The catch? Yep, its a Cat D car. It had sustained a minor front [read more]

My first Citroen Experience, has been with the 2.0 HDi 90 Desire Xsara.. which I had from new, and was the p/ex vehicle for the new C4 1.6Hdi Cool Hatch model. Owning this for the past 3 years ,wasn't without issues.. but overall, I always said I would buy another Citroen. I do enjoy /like their "quirkiness", their cutting edge [read more]
